About The Artwork
expand_more
Sweetgum (Mural Edition) by Lindsay Robertson transforms natural forms into striking contemporary art. Presented as a C-type print at a commanding 60 x 20 inches (152cm x 50cm), the work captures the intricate geometry of sweetgum seed pods, arranged with rhythmic precision across a clean, white background.
The piece balances scientific clarity with artistic elegance, inviting viewers to see beauty in nature’s overlooked details. Each pod becomes both a botanical specimen and a sculptural form, echoing cycles of growth, fragility, and resilience. The mural-like scale amplifies the sense of repetition and order, creating a visual harmony that feels meditative and enduring.
This work is ideal for collectors drawn to the intersection of natural history and fine art photography, offering a statement piece that merges minimalism with organic wonder.
