About The Artwork
expand_more
"A bold artwork capturing the golden Strawberry Moon's power. Symbolising growth, value, resilience and marking abundance.
Captured during my debut public showcase in the vibrant heart of Sotogrande, Andalucía, Spain, this artwork is a poignant bold statement, a visual symphony.
The striking black - could it be the darkness we've emerged from? And then there's the Strawberry Moon, rendered in a golden hue, inviting contemplation. Does its colour speak of value, of worth, or perhaps the glint of prosperity?
This moon is full, not just in shape but in its symbolic essence. It embodies completion, power, and influence, much like its sway over the tides.
It radiates light, enveloped in an aura of mystery. Is it the definitive full stop, the final brushstroke in the creation of THE BIGGER PICTURE COLLECTION? A punctuation mark to the end of a period of madness?
This moon could be a herald of growth, a beacon signalling the time to reap rewards after enduring adversity. It's a call to build, to fortify our foundations. The imperfect black that serves as its backdrop reflects the imperfections of our journey. But within this imperfection, the gold - possibly symbolising light and growth - suggests it's time to move forward.
This piece isn't just art; it's a narrative, a symbol of resilience, and perhaps, a map to brighter days."

About the artist

I create fine art photography that captures moments of stillness and significance, quiet invitations to reflect, recalibrate, and reconnect.
My work is rooted in a deep understanding of the human need for relief and recovery. This comes not only from the natural world I often photograph, but also from my background as a practitioner of neuroscience, where I’ve spent years helping people shift into calmer, more creative, and more constructive states of mind. Each piece I make is an extension of that mission, an opportunity to help others operate from a better, more constructive place..
Many of my photographs touch on a specific moment in time, with historical and social relevance woven into their imagery. Whether it’s a solitary architectural form, the abstraction of water, or the celestial symbolism of the moon, my pieces often reflect the global atmosphere or mood of the moment in which they were captured.
Printed primarily on brushed aluminium, silver or gold, my images are designed to interact with the light around them, shifting and transforming as the day moves. This immersive quality creates space for reflection and visual meditation. There is a quiet therapeutic intent in every work.
My collections explore themes of contrast and cohesion, darkness and light, solitude and connection. While deeply personal, I hope they also resonate universally, offering a pause, a perspective, and a sense of something bigger.
