Abundance is a series of digital paintings inspired by the masterpiece “A Still Life of Flowers in a Wan Li Vase on a Ledge with further Flowers, Shells and a Butterfly” 1609-10 by Ambrosius Bosschaert The Elder 1573-1621. The quest was to create still life that are both, true to the original master piece’s spirit and appealing to a contemporary viewer. These digital photomontages are images and photos deconstructed and reassembled individually for each piece and blended into one single coherent image.
