About The Artwork

"Escape into a moonlit realm, where serene blues and a dynamic 3D moon transform, offering tranquillity beyond earthly chaos.
Taken from my rooftop in the province of Cadiz in Southern Spain during Covid times, BLUE MOON shares the surreal celestial voyage I enjoyed at that moment. Offering an escape from earthly pandemonium to a realm of peace, meditation and tranquillity. It captures the enchantment of gazing up to the skies, where the moon reigns, hanging in this beautiful blue backdrop with its quiet, magnetic allure.
The simplicity of this image belies its profound impact. Printed on aluminium using techniques that all minuscule flecks of metal to shine through the blue creates a backdrop that accentuates the moon's enigmatic beauty.
Printed directly onto a textured aluminium, the moon comes alive. As you move around the piece and the light in your space does throughout the day and into the night, the piece transforms, gaining a mesmerising 3D quality. This isn't just a static image; it's a dynamic experience.
This isn't merely a picture; it's an evolving spectacle, a portal to tranquillity, and a constant reminder of the vast, beautiful universe that cradles our chaotic world.
Let this captivating artwork add a touch of cosmic wonder to your space."

About the artist

I create fine art photography that captures moments of stillness and significance, quiet invitations to reflect, recalibrate, and reconnect.
My work is rooted in a deep understanding of the human need for relief and recovery. This comes not only from the natural world I often photograph, but also from my background as a practitioner of neuroscience, where I’ve spent years helping people shift into calmer, more creative, and more constructive states of mind. Each piece I make is an extension of that mission, an opportunity to help others operate from a better, more constructive place..
Many of my photographs touch on a specific moment in time, with historical and social relevance woven into their imagery. Whether it’s a solitary architectural form, the abstraction of water, or the celestial symbolism of the moon, my pieces often reflect the global atmosphere or mood of the moment in which they were captured.
Printed primarily on brushed aluminium, silver or gold, my images are designed to interact with the light around them, shifting and transforming as the day moves. This immersive quality creates space for reflection and visual meditation. There is a quiet therapeutic intent in every work.
My collections explore themes of contrast and cohesion, darkness and light, solitude and connection. While deeply personal, I hope they also resonate universally, offering a pause, a perspective, and a sense of something bigger.
