About The Artwork
expand_more
The shark in the image is an Oceanic White Tip Shark. He was captured at Elphinstone Reef in the Southern Red Sea at a time when these animals had began to display uncharacteristically aggressive behaviour towards humans (including their vessels, very unusual). The species is considered potentially dangerous and on the day of the shoot I was running a high fever but decided to dive as it was the last dive of the expedition. The shark clearly knew I was in a fragile state, and exhibited aggressive behaviour throughout the entire dive. A real gift for a photographer!

Shipping & Returns

Fair & Free Shipping
We provide fair shipping for all orders under $500. What’s that mean? When most online retailers provide “free” shipping, they’re actually marking up prices to cover the shipping charge. This often costs you more! We don’t do that. Instead, we charge you exactly what it costs to ship your purchase to you. For all orders over $500, we’re happy to provide free shipping.
Processing & Delivery
Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for shipping. Note that delivery times vary depending on where your artwork is shipped from. You can see an approximate delivery range after you input shipping information at checkout. We’ll provide you with tracking info and an estimated delivery date after your order ships.
Returns
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your new artwork. That’s why we give you 14 days from the date you receive your artwork to let us know if it’s not the right fit for you. Contact us during that timeframe, and we’ll get started on your hassle-free return. Review our full Return Policy here.

About the artist

Maya is an award-winning interdisciplinary artist whose
work explores the unseen through moving image, light,
and sound. Her creations transcend a single reality—
immersive experiences that focus less on what is seen
and more on what is sensed. Drawing on her
background in biology and her fascination with the
underwater world, Maya develops installations and fine
art that merge space, rhythm, and technology into
poetic, otherworldly forms.
