Glory Edition 2

Glory Edition 2 is a bold and evocative tribute to Ukrainian strength and resistance, painted by artist Anastasia Mykolayska Shutka on a repurposed skateboard deck. In this powerful original work, a striking woman with a fierce gaze wears a crown of red marigolds—symbols of remembrance and resilience—framed by explosions of orange and blue in the sky above her. Her chest is armored with rows of crimson rounds, while below her, a soldier in green uniform raises a weapon defiantly, symbolizing the fierce determination of Ukraine’s defenders.

The Cyrillic text reads “Героям Слава” (“Glory to the Heroes”), an iconic Ukrainian rallying cry. This piece channels a deep emotional current—part resistance poster, part sacred icon—merging contemporary street art with cultural heritage and wartime expression. Glory Edition 2 is both a protest and a prayer, celebrating the spirit of freedom in the face of destruction.
