ABOUT THE ARTIST

Michael J Bowman is an artist based in Thousand Oaks, CA, known for his abstract and surreal paintings. A mostly self-taught creative, he draws inspiration from unique artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Bill Sienkiewicz to name a few of his favorites. He also has a love for comic art, robots and graphic design in general. After a long hiatus, Michael recently rediscovered his passion for art. His work reflects a detailed and playful yet thoughtful exploration of form, imagination, robots and beer.
