Frequently Asked Questions
Mailing Your Art
With our free prepaid packaging, mailing your art is simple and stress-free! If you have your own packaging, we’ll send a prepaid shipping label; if you need packaging, we’ll send you a tube or flat mailer and a prepaid shipping label. Make sure to package your art securely before dropping it off at your local UPS location.
We quickly ship your packaging after you place your order. You should expect it to arrive in 2-6 business days, depending on your location. You can track your packaging with the tracking number provided in your original order confirmation email. If it’s been more than 6 business days and you still haven’t received your packaging, please reach out to us at production@fastframe.com.
If you need new packaging for any reason, please email us at production@fastframe.com.
We want you to be confident that your art is safe and secure with us, so we offer insurance to give you peace of mind. In the unlikely event that your art is damaged or lost, we will reimburse you for the value of your art, up to $300.

We suggest that you keep your Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and only send us your artwork. If you would like a pocket on the back of your frame to hold your COA, we are happy to create one for you! Simply let us know in the “Special Instructions” section during checkout.
Product Images
Please note that preview images do not represent the exact color of your finished product. There maybe be variance depending on the screen resolution of the device on which you are viewing the product. We are certain that you will be delighted with your purchase however if you have any concerns why not drop into your local fast frame store where you can discuss your requirements with our local experts.
Photo Printing & Digital Uploads
We accept any .JPG, or .PNG file under 30MB. To ensure the highest-quality printing, we are unable to print images smaller than 300 DPI. If you have questions or need help with your file, please email us at production@fastframe.com.
The resolution of the photo you upload determines the available print sizes. After uploading your photo, we only show you print sizes that we know will look great. If you need a larger print than listed as available, we recommend trying a higher resolution version of your photo.
Your photo will be printed on archivalmatte paper using premium inks. Our printers use RGB color mode and the Adobe RGB color space.
Craftsmanship
Our craftspeople use conservation grade, acid-free mats,regular or acid free foam core based upon the artwork, and regular acrylic glazing, with UV acrylic available as an upgrade.
Because of the problems involved in shipping glass, we use acrylic glazing on all our finished frames.
Your artwork will be properly framed using our Preservation Plus™ Framing method and is enveloped in a completely acid-free environment. We use the highest quality mats, mounting boards and framing techniques to shield your artwork from the effects of acid degradation and harmful UV light.
Measuring
Measure the length and width of your piece, rounding up to the nearest whole inch. Make sure you round up to ensure the packaging we send can accommodate your artwork. After your piece arrives in our production facility, our framing experts will measure its exact dimensions and create your custom frame.
Orders
Orders ship within 5-10 days after your art is received in our production facility. We’ll let you know when your art has been received and include an estimated delivery date. When your frame is complete and your order ships, we will notify you and include tracking information.
You can view the delivery timeline for your order from your account page at any time.
If we haven’t started framing your artwork, you still have time to change many aspects of your order, including:
- Final Shipping Address
- Frame Style
- Mat Style
- Layout
Please reach out to us ASAP if you would like to make a change, as a member of our team will need to make any adjustments. Email us at production@fastframe.com and we will do our best to accommodate your changes!
Keep in mind that making changes may increase the turnaround time to receive your frame. Since material prices vary, your new selections may also require a price adjustment.

Shipping & Returns
Sorry, but we do not ship internationally.
We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.
We are not able to ship frames from one order to multiple addresses. If you need to ship to different addresses, you must place an individual order for each address. If you’ve already placed your order, reach out to our support team at production@fastframe.com with your address details and we’ll do our best to help you.
We do not require signatures for delivery. Signatures are left to the discretion of the FedEx driver.
Yes! Place your Fast Frame order first. Tell us in “Order Notes” that the art will be shipped from the artist and select “I have my own packaging.” Then order your artwork and make sure the artist includes your Fast Frame order number in the shipping container. Have your artwork shipped to:

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your order for any reason, please reach out to our Customer Service team at customerservice@fastframe.com and we’ll work hard to make things right. Please include photos and as much detail as possible in your email so we can quickly get started on a solution. We’ll give you a return label and you can send the piece back to us in its original packaging. If you no longer have it, let us know and we’ll send you new packaging.
